Bad news folks, the Christmas stress has well and truly begun. Maybe next year I’ll get it right. Anyway, I made these little quilted stockings and bought new collars from my cats.
The stockings ended up a little more grandma than I was going for, but that’s okay.Tag is from this etsy shop and I added an “rx” tag from my new metal stamping kit. I watched Isle of Dogs recently and was inspired by the dog with the baseball collar (my partner is obsessed with baseball and this is his favorite cat)This is the tag that started this whole project. Trill Paws sells custom emoji pet tags and I’ve always wanted a special tag for my cat named Calcifer. (The other side has the custom info but that’s also where my phone number is so you don’t get to see that lol)Featuring her Christian name and her street name for her two personalities. I bought a metal stamping kit to play around with but then I forgot it didn’t come with numbers…
I can’t wait to put their collars on, but I am waiting until we have our little family gift exchange this week to surprise my partner with them.
I gave up on the pillows, but I did start on my coat project. I cut out the pattern and I thiiiink I can make it work on this old coat so I mocked up a couple color options
mustard yellowdeep green
Should I go with a complimentary or contrasting color? I’m leaning towards a complimentary color because I wanted a coat that was a little less attention seeking than my other two. But also I’m a sucker for green right now.
Next week though I have no plans besides a load of laser cutting. Stay tuned. x
